The story takes place on Chand Raat, when a dangerous outbreak begins spreading through a luxury fitness facility. A group of people suddenly find themselves trapped inside the building, surrounded by infected individuals and facing an increasingly dangerous situation.

What Is Zombeid (2026) About?

Zombeid follows a terrifying outbreak that transforms a luxury fitness centre into the centre of a zombie apocalypse.

The trouble begins after a contaminated steroid injection causes a dangerous mutation. As the infection spreads, the situation quickly becomes uncontrollable. Authorities seal the building, leaving the people inside with limited opportunities to escape.

Wali, played by Fahad Mustafa, becomes involved in the struggle to protect himself and the people around him. His girlfriend Zara, portrayed by Mehwish Hayat, is also caught in the dangerous situation while teaching a Zumba class.

The outbreak creates an intense survival challenge involving infected gym-goers, unexpected threats and a growing sense of panic. With danger approaching from every direction, the characters must find ways to protect themselves and survive the night.

The story uses a familiar zombie-apocalypse concept but places it in a Pakistani urban setting, giving the film a distinctive local identity.
